Donald Trump wax figure re-dressed as ‘golfer’ at Madame Tussauds

Donald Trump's wax figure is re-dressed into golf attire at Madame Tussauds, London, after Joe Biden is named the winner of the US election.

Trump was pictured golfing in Virginia on Saturday as Joe Biden sealed election victory after winning the crucial 20 electoral college votes in Pennsylvania.

Trump is standing next to a bag of golf clubs and is donning his famous red cap which reads: "Trump 2020 Keep America Great!"

He is wearing a long-sleeved purple shirt and checked golfing trousers.

They tweeted: “His campaign may not have been a hole in one, but @realDonaldTrump is now on course to dedicate more of his time to his favourite sport as #MadameTussaudsLondon re-dresses his figure in golfing attire to reflect his potential 2021 wardrobe.”

Madame Tussauds in Berlin dumps Trump before election

The waxwork museum Madame Tussauds in Berlin loaded its effigy of TV star-turned Republican president Donald Trump into a dumpster on Friday, a move apparently intended to reflect its expectations of the November 3 presidential election, reports Reuters.

The new display of the 45th President  features him in a dumpster along with cardboard cutouts of his tweet, bags of garbage, and a MAGA hat. A sign on the Dumpster reads: “DUMP TRUMP: Make America Great again.”

In what seemed a further calculated insult, the statue of his predecessor and nemesis Barack Obama, who counted Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel among his closest allies, remained in place, beaming and besuited.

"Today's activity is rather of a symbolic character ahead of the elections in the United States," said the museum's marketing manager Orkide Yalcindag. "We here at Madame Tussauds Berlin removed Donald Trump's waxwork as a preparatory measure."

Madame Tussauds's display also includes former US presidents: regardless of the outcome, Trump and his dumpster are likely to be wheeled back before long.
