4 Bangladeshi men killed, 2 injured in Qatar road crash

At least four Bangladeshi men were killed and two others were injured in a road crash in Qatar on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Md Shakil, Md Yousuf, Md Rahat, Md Shirajul, according to media reports.

The incident took place on Qatar's Al Shamal Road at around 5am local time. 

The expatriates' car lost control and hit another private car from behind, leaving two of the men dead on spot. 

The injured Md Jamal Uddin and Habibur Rahman, both hailing from Nayaranganj, have been admitted to Doha Hamad Hospital.

Among the deceased, Md Shakil and Md Yusuf were from Narayanganj, Md Rahat was from Moulvibazar and Md Shirajul was from Brahmanbaria district. 

Meanwhile, Md Rahat's body was buried at a local cemetery on Saturday. The bodies of the three other victims have been kept at Doha's Hamad General Hospital morgue.

Charge d'Affaires of the Bangladesh Embassy in Qatar Dr Muhammad Mustafizur Rahman said that the bodies of the three will be sent to their families in Bangladesh soon.
