A Bangladeshi expatriate living in Poland has been killed in a road accident in the Central European country.
Alamin Hossain, 25, hailing from a village in Sharsha upazila of Jessore, died following the accident that took place at around 11am on Thursday.
“Alamin went to Poland three months ago. Two other Bangladeshis sustained injuries in the incident,” the local union parishad chairman, Altaf Hossain, said, adding that the three were on their way to work when it happened.
Preparations were underway to send the deceased's body to Bangladesh, he added.
