Paramilitary shelling kill 14 in Sudan displacement camp

At least 14 people were killed on Sunday in shelling by Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on a famine-hit displacement camp in the war-torn country's western Darfur region, volunteer rescuers reported.

The artillery attack targeted the Abu Shouk displacement camp, the local Emergency Response Room said in a statement, adding that bombs hit "the market and other parts inside the camp including mosques and homes close to public facilities."
