George RR Martin: Winter Is Coming

George, author of the “Song of Ice and Fire” series, openly declared his support for the Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, on his blog. He returned to his LiveJournal on Thursday morning to express his dejection after Clinton’s defeat in the presidential race against Donald J Trump. On a brief blog post titled “President P****g******[Expletive]” he writes: “Trump was the least qualified candidate ever nominated by a major party for the presidency. Come January, he will become the worst president in American history and a dangerously unstable player on the world stage.” Over the next four years, the problems in Unites States is going get much worse, he adds. The author of “Game of Thrones,” who has spent ample time narrating the brutal and politically uncertain fiction, has now resorted to using puns for the outcome of the US election. “Winter is coming,” he concludes by saying: “I told you so.”
