3 Bangladeshis dead in Bahrain road crash

Three Bangladeshis have been killed and another was injured in a road crash involving two vehicles in Bahrain.

The Bangladesh embassy said the accident took place on Saturday around 3am (local time) when they were returning to capital Manama after a trip to a beach, the Daily Star reported.

Two of the dead victims have been identified as Sujon Matobbor, from Dakshin Doubledia Kazi Kandi village in Shariatpur’s Jazira upazila, and KM Ruhul Rabbi, from Mandirpur village in Brahmanbaria’s Kasba upazila.

Md Rubel, from Sreepur Bazar in Chandpur's Haziganj upazila, is undergoing treatment at a hospital with severe injuries.

The four went to visit the beach on Eid-ul-Fitr holiday, according to the Bangladesh embassy.

The bodies have been kept at Salmaniya Medical Complex morgue. The embassy has said that it will provide all assistance for sending the bodies to Bangladesh on an emergency basis.

Meanwhile, In Canada, three Bangladeshis, including the owner of Premium Sweets Moniruzzaman Bijoy, died in a road accident on Thursday.
