Malala Yousafzai finishes school and joins Twitter

The youngest Nobel Prize achiever Malala Yousafzai has finished school and joins Twitter. The 19-year-old Malala, was a Pakistani campaigner who was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen for speaking in support of the girls’ education right has now joined Twitter with a call for people to help her fight for girls' education, reports BBC. Malala joined Twitter on Friday the same day she finished school and made a series of tweets.

She took her first steps into the world of social media tweeting about her last day of school and how graduating from secondary school (high school) was bittersweet moment for.

Being a person who never skips a chance of speaking in favour of girls’ education right and how so many girls a deprived from this basic right, she did not forget to speak on the issue on her twitter handle (@Malala) too. She said her last day of school reminds her of the millions of girls who would never get the same opportunity of going to school.

Malala was an 11-year-old schoolgirl when she started writing a blog on girls' education. At the age of 15, she made global headlines for her fight after she was attacked in October 2012. Malala was flown to the UK for urgent treatment. She survived the attack and has been attending school in the UK ever since. It was reported earlier this year she had received a conditional offer to study at a top UK university.
