Pakistani activist for female education Malala Yousafzai has completed her degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Britain's esteemed Oxford University.
Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala, who attended Oxford's Lady Margaret Hall college, took to social media on Friday and shared two pictures that showed her celebrating the occasion with her family and disclosed her future plans, reports NDTV.
“Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford," posted the 22-year-old from her Twitter account.
Of the two shared photos, one showed Malala cutting a cake that read "Happy Graduation Malala" with her family, while the other featured her covered in cake and smiling for the camera.
Malala also revealed her plans for the immediate future: “I don't know what's ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading and sleep.”

The social media post has garnered hundreds and thousands of ‘likes’, as well as countless comments from netizens congratulating her on the occasion.
Malala gained global recognition for standing up for the cause of women’s education.
In 2012, she was shot in the head by the Taliban in Pakistan for campaigning for girls to be permitted to go to school.
Aged 17 at the time, Malala was the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate when she received the Nobel Peace Prize for her advocacy of education in 2014.
