Malaysian stabs Bangladeshi to death over hardware dispute

A Bangladeshi man was stabbed to death by his Malaysian house-mate over a dispute regarding the ownership of an electrical socket. The incident took place in Nibong Tebal around 2:30pm on Thursday, when Siraz was packing to move out of the house. The 22-year-old victim, Siraz, was a construction worker. Malaysia's South Seberang Perai District Police Chief SI Abdul Shafee Abdul Ahmad confirmed the matter to Free Malaysia Today. Shafee said while packing up, Siraz took a multi-extension socket that allegedly belonged to his house-mate. The two argued over the hardware and eventually, Siraz was stabbed. After being stabbed, Siraz ran out of the house but collapsed at the porch. Police have arrested the attacker and sent Siraz's body to the Sungai Bakap Hospital for an autopsy. A case has been filed in connection to the murder.
