The Walton 32nd Bangladesh International Junior Tennis Championship will be held from November 6-11 this year. Prior to that, the qualifying round will be held Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 53 male and 38 female players from 13 countries, including host Bangladesh, will participate in the event. This competition is part of the International Tennis Federation’s U-18 Group 5 World Junior Ranking.
There will be four categories in the tournament – boys’ singles, boys’ doubles, girls’ singles and girls’ doubles.
In the boys’ singles category, India’s Aryan Javeri has been seeded first while China’s Wenmao Li was seeded second. In the girls’ singles event, America’s Anaya Kothakota has been seeded first while India’s Dipshikha Sriram was seeded second.
The opening ceremony will be held Monday at Ramna Tennis Complex in Dhaka.
