Bangladesh is set to host Nepal for the first kabaddi Test series in the country in 50 years.
There will be five matches scheduled to be held on February 22, 23, 25, 26 and 28.
All the games will take place at the outer stadium of Paltan Maidan in Dhaka.
According to Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, the country is going to host the first Test series in 50 years.
Last time it hosted a Test series was against India in 1974.
Initially, Bangladesh invited Sri Lanka for this month’s Test series.
Sri Lanka first accepted the offer but later, on January 29, requested to reschedule the tour.
Sri Lanka wanted to play the Test series from April 22 to 30 this year.
They also invited Bangladesh kabaddi team for Test series in Sri Lanka in June- July, 2025.
All Nepal Kabaddi Association also invited Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation to attend a women Test match in March, a month after Bangladesh host Nepal.
