Olympian swimmer Sonia Akhter added two more gold medals on the third day of National Swimming Championship 2024 to take her total gold tally to six.
Sonia Monday clinched top spot in women's 100m butterfly and 800m freestyle events held at Mirpur swimming complex.
Earlier, the Bangladesh Navy swimmer won her first gold in this year's competition in women's 200m freestyle followed by top finish in 200m butterfly on the opening day.
She placed first in women's 100m freestyle and 200m individual medley on second day.
Other Olympian swimmer Samiul Islam Rafi continued to set new national records.
After breaking three individual records in the first two days, he set a team record in men's 4*200m freestyle relay Monday along with Navy teammates Kajol, Asif and Nahid.
