UK-based Bangladeshi Shah Kamali wears Palestine flag, knocks out Dutchman on pro MMA debut

London-based Bangladesh-born fighter Shah Kamali wore the Palestine flag before and after his professional Mixed Martial Arts debut in Amsterdam.

Kamali knocked out 37-year old Dutch opponent, Jimmy van Bemmelen in only one minute and eight seconds of the opening round.

It was in the heavyweight division of the Levels Fight League held at the Transformatorhuis in the Dutch capital.

During his walk towards the stage just before the bout, Kamali held a Palestine flag on his hands and Bangladesh flag on the forehead.

The 25-year old also wore the Palestine flag after the crushing win to show solidarity with the Palestinian people currently being ambushed in their own land by Israel.

Kamali, born in Sunamganj district of Sylhet division, had a 100% record of winning all his six amateur fights earlier.
