Bangladesh national volleyball team handed Hong Kong a 3-1 defeat in Iran Friday to secure 15th spot in the 22nd Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship.
They won the first two sets 25-22, 25-23 and lost the third set 21-25 before strolling to victory with a comfortable 25-19 win in the fourth set.
It was the 15th-16th place deciding match of the competition where top Asian volleyball nations are taking part.
Bangladesh earlier lost to South Korea, Pakistan and Afghanistan in their previous encounters.
