The men’s national kabaddi team made a winning start in the opening day of the kabaddi events Wednesday after beating host Nepal comfortably by 43-15 points at APF Halchowk Stadium in Kathmandu.
The women’s team however, conceded a shocking defeat of 36-25 points against Nepal at the same venue.
Raider Shraboni Mallick accused the referee of being favorable to the home side by giving undeserved technical points.
