Bangladesh’s Mohammad Ruman Shana tasted disappointment Saturday as he missed out on the gold medal in the recurve men’s singles final in the Asia Cup Archery World Ranking Tournament, stage one.
Instead, it was Kazakhstan’s Abdulin Ilfat who bagged gold.
Ruman lost the first two sets by 29-27 and 28-27 points and although he won the third set 29-28, he conceded defeat after losing the fourth set 29-24.

Ruman had topped the qualification round with a score of 681.
Bangladesh earned one more medal in Bangkok, Thailand Saturday when the recurve men’s team notched bronze.
Bangladesh’s Ruman, Hakim Ahmed Rubel and Imdadul Haque Milon beat Kazakhstan by 5-4 sets.
