Hornets Sporting Club defeated The Gregs by 68-56 points in the day’s opening match of the Unimed UniHealth Premier Division Basketball League 2018 at Dhanmondi Wooden Floor Basketball Gymnasium Sunday.
The victor led the first half 33-24. Rasha and Masud caged 24 and 21 points respectively for the Hornets, while Oliver scored 20 for the Gregs.
Meanwhile Saturday night, Rangers beat the Gregs by 80-72 points with Mehedi scoring 19 points for the Rangers.
The Gregarious Club defeated Eagles by 98-66 points in the other match. Ovi caged the highest points – 27 – for the Gregarious.
