Uttara Central Club’s Candidate Master Subrata Biswas emerged as the champion in the National “B” Chess Wednesday.
As many as 10 players finished on equal seven points after the ninth and final round as Subrata sealed the title in the tie-breaker.
Titas Club’s CM Ikramul Haque Siam finished runners-up while Golden Sporting Club’s Ananta Chowdhury ended third.

CM Manon Reja #Neer was solely leading the points table with six points after six round games of the Open Under-8 Group of the Western Asia Youth & Junior #Chess Championship-2018.
Bangladesh Navy’s Fide Master Mohammad Javed finished fourth while Mymensingh’s Jamal Uddin emerged fifth.
The top 10 finishers in this competition earned the right to play in the final round of the National “A” Chess.
