In the same event, Bangladesh’s Roksana Akter beat teammate Bonna Akter 143-138 in the semi-final. Roksana set up a gold clash with reigning champion Fatimah Almashadani of Iraq. Fatimah had beaten Emily Hoim of Estonia in the other semi-final. In the bronze decider, Bonna beat Hoim 139-137. In the recurve men’s team event, the home side comprising Tamimul, Ibrahim Sheikh and Ruman set up a gold-decider with Nepal, who beat Saudi Arabia 5-4 in the last four. Bangladesh advanced to the final after beating Iraq 5-1 in the semi-final. In the recurve women’s team category, the host nation comprising Nasrin, Beauty Ray and Radia Akter Shapla will face Azerbaijan in the gold-decider. In the recurve mixed team event, Bangladesh’s Ruman and Nasrin beat Kyrgyzstan 6-2 in the semi to set up a gold clash with Turkey.

In the compound category, Bangladesh team containing Ashikuzzaman Anoy, Ashim and Kashem reached the final directly where they will face Iraq. Iraq defeated Nepal in the last four. In the compound team category, Bangladesh’s Roksana, Bonna and Ritu Akter will take on Morocco in the gold-decider after the latter defeated Nepal in the last four. The home side qualified directly for the final. In the compound mixed team event, Bangladesh side comprising Roksana and Ashim progressed directly to the final where they will play Iraq. Iraq had beaten Nepal in the last four.
