South Asian Club Table Tennis: Bangladesh’s Pallolic Group finish third

Despite winning two matches on the final day, Pallolic Group of Bangladesh finished third in the first ever Golam Mostafa Memorial South Asian Club Table Tennis Championship 2018 that concluded at MA Aziz Stadium Gymnasium in Chittagong Monday. Pallolic defeated Southern Club of Sri Lanka and Maldovian Club of Maldives by the same margin of 3-1 in the last day of the three-day event but managed to earn only six points to finish third. Bengal Group of India emerged as the champion after beating runners-up Huaie Club of Nepal and Southern Club by similar margin of 3-0. India and Nepal earned 10 and eight points respectively while Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives' clubs finished fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
