Billah completes table tennis coaching course

BKSP coach Khandakar al Mostafa Billah became the first Bangladeshi to complete the International Table Tennis Federation's level three coaching course, which took place in Sri Lanka this month. He returned home Friday and the Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation honoured him with a reception Sunday. BTTF, along with the Bangladesh Olympic Association, organised ITTF level two coaching courses in 2013 where nine Bangladeshis took part. Among them only Mostafa managed to pass the level three course after a failed attempt in 2015. According to the federation, Billah is the only Bangladeshi with a diploma degree in table tennis that he obtained in 2002-03 from the National Institute of Sports in Patiala. Billah started his playing career in 1991 and captained Bangladesh table tennis team in the 2010 South Asian Games. He also won the men's singles title in the 2005 national championship.
