Defending champions Usha and Sonali Bank are set for a competitive combat when the sides meet in the first semi-final of the UCB Club Cup Hockey at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium at 12:30pm today.
Usha are the clear favourites to go through, but Sonali Bank has a number of experienced players who would make the life hard for Usha.
The second semi-final between Abahani Limited and Ajax will be a duel of giant and dwarfs as Ajax does not possess the arsenal to restrict the blazing guns of the Sky Blues. The match starts at 2:30pm.
Both Usha and Abahani will look forward to sharpen their skills ahead of the final scheduled on Wednesday.
