Bangladesh Navy hockey team began their All India Sahibzada Ajit Singh Hockey Champion Trophy 2013 campaign with a 3-1 victory over Namdhari Academy at Olympian Pirthipal Singh Hockey Stadium, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in Punjab yesterday.
Chayan scored the opener in the first minute from a penalty corner before Rimon and Shihab extended the margin in the second half.
Navy will face ONGC in their second game today.
