Nadira Ema struck a sensational hat-trick as Bangladesh thrashed Pakistan 8-0 to register their third consecutive victory in the Women's Junior AHF Cup 2026 in Muscat, Oman on Thursday.
The emphatic win strengthened Bangladesh's grip on the top of the five-team standings with a maximum nine points from three matches, two ahead of second-placed Kazakhstan.
Pakistan, meanwhile, remained rooted to the bottom of the table without a point after three defeats.
Bangladesh captain Sharika Rimon opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Prionti Oishi doubled the lead in the 15th minute.
Ema netted her first in the 22nd minute before completing her hat-trick with goals in the 39th and 45th minutes.
Kona Akter, Airin Riya and Tasfiha Tisha also got on the scoresheet, finding the net in the 38th, 41st and 48th minutes respectively.
Ema was named player of the match for her outstanding display.
Bangladesh had begun their campaign with a 6-0 victory over Hong Kong China before edging Uzbekistan 1-0, underlining their credentials as one of the tournament favourites.
The Bengal Tigresses will take on Kazakhstan on Friday in a clash that could prove decisive in the title race.
The Women's Junior AHF Cup features Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Hong Kong China in a single round-robin format, with the team finishing at the top of the standings crowned champions.
