A total of 20 former national hockey players protested the unruly act of a section of national hockey players regarding the upcoming hockey federation’s election and the players’ transfer yesterday. The statement signed by hockey legend Abdus Sadeque, Jumman Lusai, former national stars Jamal Haidar, Mamunur Rashid, Kamrul Islam Kismat, Rafikul Islam Kamal and others urged the players to focus on their duties and take Bangladesh hockey forward. They also said the players are unexpectedly placing illogical demands on the federation.
