Ace Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman emerged champion at the 7th Paragon Professional Golf Tournament at Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka Tuesday.
He received Tk1,30,000 as prize money.
Siddikur carded five-under-par 71 in three days to lift the trophy while Dulal Hossain and Jakir Uzzaman both played two-over-par and jointly shared second position.
The KGC has declared par-71 course for this tournament to align with upcoming Asian Tour to be held in this venue.
Usually, KGC is played in par-72 course.
Siddikur with the champion's trophy Md Shamim became winner in the amateur group.
A total of 78 professional golfers from all over Bangladesh participated in this event along with amateur golfers from national team and Bangladesh Golf Academy.
Major General Md Zahirul Islam, ndc, psc, Vice President of Kurmitola Golf Club was the chief guest in the concluding ceremony and distributed the prizes to the winners.
Moshiur Rahman, managing director of Paragon Group, was the special guest.
