Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman continued his good run at the Queen’s Cup as he carded a 2-under 69 to share the second spot after the second round at the Santiburi Samui Country Club yesterday. Japan’s Daisuke Kataoka finished the day in the lead of the US$312,000 tournament after a second round 3-under 68. After playing a bogey-less first round, Siddikur got just a single bogey yesterday and scored 3 birdies to make his 2-day total of 7-under 135. The 27-year-old, one of the favourites in the tournament, kept his hopes alive and is 2-shots behind the leader, along with Thailand’s Prayad Marksaeng.
