Bangladesh ace golfer Siddikur Rahman failed to live with his love affair with Panasonic Open India where the three-time second-place holder carded a disappointing even-par-72 for a total of eight-under-208 to finish at joint eighth, staying five shot back of the eventual winner Korea’s Joohyung Kim Sunday.
Kim became the second youngest Asian Tour professional winner when he fired a seven-under-65 to beat India’s Chikkarangappa S and Shiv Kapur by one shot at the US$400,000 event which was contested over 54 holes at the Classic Golf and Country Club.

Australia’s Terry Pilkadaris, who held a share of the overnight lead, signed for a one-under-71 to finish in outright fourth place while Indonesia’s Rory Hie was tied for fifth with Chinese Taipei’s Hung Chie-yao and India’s Vikrant Chopra.
Siddikur, who started the third day at joint fourth position, posted three bogeys and three birdies to earn US$8,666.67 along with Thai Settee Prakongvech and Indian Veer Ahlawat.
