The new executive committee of Bangladesh Football Federation has taken initiative to reform the constitution of BFF as their first meeting after October’s polls was held at BFF House Saturday.
A three-member BFF’s constitution reformation committee chaired by Dr. Mohammad Zakaria was formed.
Other two members of the committee are Zain Hossain and Barrister Meer Mohammad Imran Hossain.
The duration of the reformation committee is three months, stated a BFF press release.
The names of the chairmen of 11 standing committees of the federation were also finalized.
New BFF president Tabith Awal will chair three standing committees – national teams committee, finance committee and emergency committee – while senior vice president Imrul Hasan will continue as professional league management committee chairman.
New four vice presidents were also given the responsibility.
VPs Nasser Shahrear Zahedee, Wahid Uddin Chowdhury, Sabbir Ahmed Aref and Fahad Karim were made the chairmen of development committee, internal audit committee, Dhaka Metropolis league committee and marketing committee respectively.
Among the executive committee members, Amirul Islam Babu was made the chairman of media committee while Kamrul Hasan Hilton became the technical committee chairman.
The duration of finance committee is four years while other standing committees are one year.
A total of 12 ad-hoc committees were also formed including the constitution reformation committee.
