Motorsport drivers Kashfia Arfa and Arhaam Rahman bagged four medals for Bangladesh, including three golds, in the recently concluded Malaysian Festival of Speed 2024.
Kashfia did the double by winning the Female Solo category and Mixed Doubles event alongside Arhaam, who also finished third in the Male Solo section, against a competitive class of local Malaysian and international talent.
The Malaysian Festival of Speed is a new multi-disciplinary motorsport event held at Sepang International Circuit.
Bangladesh team will now turn their attention to the FIA Motorsport Games Spain 2024 – the motorsport equivalent of the Olympics.
Bangladesh motorsport team in Valencia will feature Kashfia, Arhaam, Fahad Gaffoor, captain and touring car driver Avik Anwar, manager Asif Hossain, Esports GT driver Rahul Chakraborty and Esports crew and assistant team manager Mahir Ahmed.
