Bangladesh U-23 football team is out of the Asian games as they have conceded a 2-1 defeat to Hong Kong in their last group game at Incheon of Korea on Monday.
It was a must win game for the red-green boys, who lost to Uzbekistan by 3-0 and won against South Asian Champion Afghanistan by a solitary goal.
Annan opened the scoring for Hong Kong on the 53rd minute and Lam Hok-Hei doubled the lead on the 73rd minute.
Sojib scored a goal at 77 minutes for Bangladesh which proved to be a mere consolation.
