Lal Teer were left to lick their wound and regroup for another day. Piyash was the man to watch as he netted five in regulation time while Asgar added three more to his goal tally. Comfit could be this year's surprise package, but it is still early days yet.SECUREX 6 1 LE MERIDIENThere was much confusion on the pitch as Securex took on Le Meridien as they were both clad in identical jerseys. After losing the toss, the hotelier were asked to wear the bib, but their misery didn’t end there. Immediately the securitywallahs took the game to Le Meridien and after some slick passing and movement ended the game 6-1. Polash who played from defense scored a brilliant hat-trick while his teammate Shozib netted three himself. Arman scored a conciliatory goal for Meridien.ASCENT GROUP 4 0 MULTIMODEIt was not a happy return for Multimode in the tournament as the home side, Ascent gave them a stern lesson on footballing skills.
