Feni Soccer Club salvaged a vital point to keep alive their hopes of staying in the top flight after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Brothers Union in the Nitol-Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.
Nigerian forward Simon Ezeodika put the Oranges ahead in the 21st minute before Feni striker Chuka Charles cancelled out the lead in the 55th minute of the game.
With the draw, Soccer Club now have 15 points from 24 matches, three ahead of bottom-placed Uttar Baridhara. Only the bottom club will be relegated to the second tier. Brothers on the other hand are now at fifth position with 37 points from the same number of outings.
