Brazilian midfield maestro Kaka wants his country and Germany to feature in the final of the World Cup. While walking towards the dressing room of the Brazilian national side yesterday, the 32-year old gave his assessment and said Brazil are playing well but there is still room for improvement. “I hope with the span of time Brazil will get more united as a unit. It happens in the World Cup. The more you go up the more you get united. I hope Brazil continue the trend,” said the AC Milan star.
Though Kaka was left out of the final 23-man squad, he has been an inspirational figure for the national side. He inspires the players before the game, talks with them and motivates them to put up their best and said he was not regretting his omission. “I don’t think about that. It was the coach’s choice. All I hope is for Brazil to emerge as champions,” said Kaka.
When queried about Brazil’s toughest opponent Kaka categorically stated the name of Germany. “Germany are playing well and showing the teamwork which is very important in the World Cup. They have demonstrated team spirit. I will not be surprised to see Germany move to the final and I have every hope that Brazil will be their opponent,” opined the skillful midfielder.
