Dhaka Abahani Limited claimed their second win in the Bangladesh Premier League after handing Muktijoddha Sangsad KC a 3-1 defeat at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
Ghanaian forward Awudu Ibrahim put Abahani ahead in the 46th minute before Muktijoddha restored the parity through their Nigerian forward Eleta Benjamin in the 78th minute.
However, Abahani produced a superb performance in the last 10 minutes as Ibrahim scored his second in the 81st minute while his compatriot Osei Morrison completed the route in the penultimate minute of the match. Abahani now have seven points after three matches, while Muktijoddha have four.
