Dutch coaches frustrated

The two Dutch national football coaches, Lodewijk de Kruif and his assistant Rene Koster asked the football federation to arrange practice matches for national team at a meeting with the federation president yesterday.

With no work to do at the moment, the two coaches are fed up of sitting idle as the federation has failed to come up with new assignments after the Saff Championship in Nepal in September. Moreover, there are some certain problems regarding unpaid salaries also.

Kazi Salahuddin, the president of BFF, assured the coaches that all the problems will be taken care of by February and blamed the troubles on the political turmoil in the country. In the meantime, he assured the coaches they will be receiving their salary partially shortly. Salahuddin also assured the coaches he would arrange a couple of practice matches within the next two months.

Bangladesh Football Federation is struggling to cope with the demands of the time as they presently do not have any official sponsors. The three year log sponsorship deal worth Tk240m with Grameenphone expired last June and BFF has yet to strike another deal.
