Thomas Dooley made six changes to his second starting XI in charge of Bangladesh for their FIFA ASEAN Cup opener against Malaysia on Friday, handing Farhaan Ali Wahid his international debut.
Bangladesh’s last match was against hosts San Marino on June 5, when they secured a 2-1 victory.
Goalkeeper Mehedi Hasan Srabon, defenders Shakil Ahad Topu and Zayyan Ahmed, and midfielders Shamit Shome, Fahamedul Islam and Farhaan Ali Wahid came into the starting XI.
They replaced Mitul Marma, Topu Barman, Isa Faysal, Jamal Bhuiyan, Sheikh Morsalin and Rafiqul Islam, while Faysal Ahmed Fahim also came into the side, making it six changes in total, with Bangladesh lining up in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
The match kicks off at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta at 3pm Bangladesh time.
The men in red and green will face Singapore on September 28 at the same venue before taking on hosts Indonesia in their final group-stage match on October 1.
