Betis' Antony can face Real Madrid after red card overturned

Real Betis winger Antony will be available to face Real Madrid Saturday after the Spanish football federation (RFEF) overturned his red card from last weekend.

The Manchester United winger, on loan in Seville, was sent off during Betis' 2-1 win at Getafe Sunday.

The RFEF disciplinary committee ruled that Antony had tried to play the ball when he slid in on Getafe defender Juan Iglesias.

Antony has netted three goals for Betis in six appearances across all competitions since joining in the January transfer window.

The Brazil international, 25, became United's second most expensive player ever when he joined from Ajax Amsterdam in 2022 for £81.3m ($101.5m), but struggled to find form at Old Trafford.

Champions Real are second in LaLiga, level on points with leaders Barcelona, while Betis are fighting for European football and sit seventh.
