Jamal joins coaching course, says Hamza good for all

Bangladesh midfielder Jamal Bhuiyan started BFF-AFC A Diploma Course 2025 at BFF House Saturday where he spoke on Hamza Choudhury’s allegiance to Bangladesh as well as his next premier league move.

The Part 1 of the coaching course, conducted by Bangladesh Football Federation’s technical director Saiful Bari Titu and course instructor Julfikar Mahmud Mintu, will run until January 29.

Jamal took the opportunity to join the course as he has been without a club in the ongoing first phase of the Bangladesh Premier League.

During the league, he spent much of his time in Denmark.

He also said to have played for a Danish local club.

After the official inauguration program of the A Diploma course, Jamal went to the BFF Artificial Turf to hand over new jersey to the trainee kids of BFF academy as grass-root ambassador.

He talked to the reporters after this.

“There are a lot of children. They have a dream to become a football player. I was also like them. The happiness I saw in them makes me feel good,” said Jamal.

While speaking on Hamza, the 34-year old said: “It’s a huge matter because he is competing in the highest level – the Premier League – so three-four more of Hamza would be good for the country. When Hamza comes, it will be good for all.”

Jamal was born and raised in Denmark before he started representing Bangladesh national team more than a decade ago.

Except one season each in India and Argentina, he spent most of his playing career in BPL.

He was set to rejoin Abahani but the move fell off at the end.

It has been rumored that Jamal could join Brothers Union during the mid-transfer window.

He replied on his next destination: “I’ll confirm this within 10 days.”
