The players transfer dispute among the premier league clubs and the players has yet to be resolved as Mohammedan SC want the players who they have paid while Sheikh Russell KC are as still unwilling to let their players leave the club. Mohammedan have even threatened to file a legal case against BFF if the situation is not soon remedied.
Earlier, BFF asked the clubs and players to resolve their internal problems in the matter by August 5. National players like Emily, Zahid Hossain, Shakil Ahmed, defenders Ariful Islam, Mamun Miah and Nahidul Islam reportedly received a token payments of Tk1m each as a first-phase payment but later decided to remain with the clubs they played for in the previous season.
"There is no chance of mutual understanding with the players. The players who took money from us to play for the club, they must have to wear Mohammedan jersey next season," said director in-charge of MSC Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan.
Some of the players claimed that they did not receive their second-phase money from Mohammedan despite repeated promises. Lokman said, "There was nothing like this. Those who received advanced money will get their due during the transfers' window."
The players' transfer window for the season 2013-14 will be open from August 16.
