Bashundhara Kings finished as Group D winners despite being held to a goalless draw by Chittagong Abahani in Gopalganj in the final fixture of the Independence Cup opening round Friday.
The port city outfit also progressed as group runners-up with two points, showing Bangladesh Navy football team the exit door.
With a win and a draw, holders Kings emerged as pool champions and will face Army football team in the last quarter-final at their own ground Tuesday.
Mohammedan Sporting Club will take on Chittagong Abahani in the third quarter-final in Munshiganj on the same day.
Abahani Limited, who became Group B winners after three consecutive wins, will encounter tough opposition in Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the last eight in Munshiganj Sunday.
The other match of the knockout stage will feature Bangladesh Police and Rahmatganj MFS which will be held at the Kings Arena later Sunday.
