Bangladesh men’s and women’s football team captains Jamal Bhuiyan and Sabina Khatun seemed to have spent an exciting time with Ronaldinho during the Brazilian football legend’s short trip in Dhaka Wednesday.
Ronaldinho landed at the Bangladesh capital in the afternoon and soon rushed to a courtesy visit with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina before the meeting with the national skippers.
Sabina and Jamal were invited by the organizer earlier and the duo met the former Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain star during an event titled “A magical night with the football legend Ronaldinho” at Hotel Radisson.
Sabina posted a selfie with the 2002 World Cup winner on her official facebook page with a broad smile stating, “Ronaldinho the Legend”.
Ronaldinho was also smiling in the photo while Jamal, who also expressed excitement of meeting his childhood idol, was sitting next to him.
The program was earlier boycotted by the journalists who went to cover the event and were allowed to enter the conference room but later asked to leave the seats and stand in the back, paving the way for a protest before leaving the place.
