Bruzon extends Kings contract

Head coach Oscar Bruzon has extended his contract with Bangladesh Premier League champions Bashundhara Kings for one more season.

“After five seasons of regular success (runners up on the two editions we played at the AFC Cup South Zone, 4 straight BPL titles and six Cup trophies) I am glad to announce that I have agreed to extend my contract with Kings for a further period,” stated Bruzon on social media Monday.

“The consistent run of positive results both at the domestic and international arena has provided to our club the opportunity to compete next season 2023-2024 at the most prestigious Asian club competition, the Asian Champions League which entitles Bangladesh football to keep dreaming high.”

Bruzon did not reveal the length of the new contract but a source from the club confirmed Dhaka Tribune that it is for one season and other coaches of the team are also extending deal for similar period.

Bruzon also posted, “Please allow me to highlight and give full credit to our top coaching panel. Our inner trust and belief in our capabilities has contributed to meet and exceed the club expectations. I truly value the relationships I have built here and I look forward to further heights and shared success.”
