Kazi Nabil Ahmed, the vice president of Bangladesh Football Federation, has extended his support to former legendary footballer Mohammad Mohsin who has been struggling physically and financially.
The eminent sports organizer announced to provide Tk1 lakh to the former Abahani, Mohammedan and national goalkeeper of the 1980s and 90s.
“Mohsin bhai is one of the famous goalkeepers of Bangladesh. He is currently in distress. I applaud Bangladesh Cricket Board's decision to stand by him. President Kazi Salahuddin also announced that he will give Tk1 lakh to Mohsin bhai. I also stand by his side,” said Nabil, who is also vice president of Bangladesh Olympic Association.
Earlier Tuesday, BCB came up with the decision to give financial assistance to Mohsin and the following day, he was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital.
