Bangladesh came from behind to play out a 1-1 draw against Nepal in their fourth and last match of the Saff U-17 Women's Championship in Dhaka Tuesday.
The hosts concluded the campaign with a total of seven points to finish second in the table of the five-team tournament.
Russia, who won all four games to emerge as champions, beat India 2-0 in the tournament's last match later Tuesday to be crowned champions.
Bangladesh conceded in the eighth minute following a solo effort from Senu Pariyar who ran from the halfway, skipped past a couple of defenders before firing past the goalkeeper.

Sagorika equaled the margin in the 75th minute, placing home from just outside the six-yard box following a brilliant low cross of Trishna Chakma from the right flank.
Kanon Akter's header denied by the woodwork in added time was Bangladesh's last opportunity.
Bangladesh earlier defeated Bhutan and India but lost to overwhelming favorites Russia who played in a Saff competition for the first time.
