Bangladesh football team captain Jamal Bhuiyan has put up an official complaint against his former side Saif Sporting Club for the due salary of three months from the previous 2021-22 season.
The Denmark-born midfielder sent the complaint letter to the Bangladesh Football Federation earlier this month, seeking justice from the country's football governing body.
“After successfully ending the season, I expected Saif SC to clear three months' due salary,” Jamal said in the letter.
“But after the ending of the season on August 2, 2022, the club presidents and general secretary told me they would clear the dues I have from the club. I am seeking salary of three months (February, March, and July which is equal to 1,650,000Tk) by the middle of November.”

“I have tried to communicate with Saif SC's presidents (Tarafder Saif and Tarafder Ruhul Amin) and general secretary (Asadujjaman Rony) and also the manager (Shahedul Alam Shahed) but they have not responded and cleared my dues yet,” the statement continued.
Saif in the first week of August decided to withdraw from all football activities from the 2022-23 season.
Jamal, who played for Saif for five years before joining Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra this season, told Dhaka Tribune that he will hire an international lawyer and go to Fifa if the BFF can't solve the issue.
