Brett Lee wishes good luck to Bangladesh women footballers

Australian cricket legend Brett Lee Friday wished good luck to Bangladesh women's football team participating in the ongoing Saff Women's Championship in Nepal.

Bangladesh women footballers met the former Australian fast bowler at the team hotel, the Sultry.

Lee inquired about the women booters, who were wearing Bangladesh jersey at that time.

Lee made a halt in Nepal after watching the Asia Cup Twenty20 in Dubai.

He is scheduled to travel to India, where he will take part in the Road Safety Tournament, a T20 league for retired cricketers, which will begin Saturday and run till October 1.

The former express bowler spoke with Sabina Khatun and her teammates and wished good luck to the Bangladesh team ahead of their match against Pakistan Saturday.

Srimoti Krishna Rani Sarkar was very excited to see the former Australian all-rounder as she said, "He asked me in which position I play in the team and wished me and my team.”

Bangladesh midfielder Maria Manda was also elated to meet Lee.

She said: "I saw him this morning at the team hotel. He was having breakfast at that time......we were also having breakfast sitting next to him. I took a picture with him. I am very happy."
