Sixth-placed Wari Club handed table toppers Uttar Baridhara Club a shocking 3-2 defeat in a dramatic Premier Bank Bangladesh Championship League match at the Kamalapur stadium yesterday. Tenjing opened the scoring for Wari just 13 minutes on the clock before Khalekuzzaman restored the parity in the 27th minute for Baridhara. Titu put Wari ahead once again in the 41st minute but Dalim's 78-minute goal equalised the margin. Rubel scored in the stroke of the second half to seal Wari's third victory of the season. Chittagong Abahani are the biggest beneficiary of the Wari victory as they are now just one point behind Baridhara, having played the same number of games (10). Wari moved to fifth place with 12 points.
