Bangladesh national football team’s tour of England has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances, informed the organisers Celebrity Management Group of India today.
"We had to postpone the event because of reasons beyond our control," Bhaswar Goswami, the chief executive officer of Celebrity Management Group, was quoted by Bangladesh Football Federation.
Bangladesh were scheduled to play two Fifa friendlies against India and Pakistan at English Premier League club Fulham’s home ground Craven Cottage in early June.
Bangladesh was scheduled to play India on June 1 at 1500GMT, before facing Pakistan on June 8 at 1800GMT.
A week earlier, CMG released the schedule of the tournament after receiving confirmation from the Fulham authorities.
