Bashundhara Kings maintained their perfect start to the Bangladesh Premier League season as they registered their third successive win, beating Brothers Union 1-0 Saturday evening in Comilla’s Shaheed Dhirendronath Datta Stadium.
Brazilian attacker Robson Robinho grabbed the all-important goal in the 63rd minute to maintain the Kings’ 100% winning record - maximum nine points from three games.
After good work down the byline by Mohammad Ibrahim, Robinho received the former's cutback and placed home.

The Kings, who had beaten Uttar Baridhara Club and Police Football Club in their first two matches, also began on a winning note at their designated home venue, the Comilla Stadium, which was brimming with Bashundhara fans.
Bashundhara previously had Nilphamari's Sheikh Kamal Stadium as their allotted home venue in their title winning season in 2018/19.
Brothers in contrast tasted their third loss in a row following their defeats to Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra and Abahani Limited.
